UNFINISHED Festival brings together creativity, technology, business leaders and entrepreneurs to inspire and motivate the public at large through a series of keynote addresses, interactive panels, hands-on workshops, masterclasses, and unconference style brainstorming sessions, as well as exhibitions, networking events and concerts. Each event belongs to one of the four pillars Inspire, Connect, Empower, Change, and will engage the attendees in an intellectual and artistic investigation of the ways in which creativity can be an agent of positive change in society.
CRISTIAN MOVILA is a photographer & visual artist based in Bucharest. For the last decade, he has been collaborated with The New York Times, TIME magazine and National Geographic on subjects spanning most of the globe focusing on the human condition and social issues. He founded EIDOS FOUNDATION in 2009.
BEATRICE CORD is a Romanian strategist based in New York with extensive international experience in public diplomacy and impact programs creation and implementation. After running business development, and program management for the global consultancy company Richard Attias & Associates, part of WPP Group for almost 4 years she has now joined Lateral Inc. to lead business and partnerships development and grow the technology incubator in New York.
Her main focus is creating positive change through broad partnerships and facilitating entrepreneurial behaviors and trends across different sectors of society.
RAMONA TODOCA is a Romanian award-winning art director living and working in New York. For the past 6 years, she has been working for top advertising firms on projects for Google, IBM, Gucci and The New York Times. Currently a Senior Art Director at Droga5, Ramona works at the intersection between design, art and technology. In her spare time, she is a focusing on creative collaborations and cultural projects.
SILVIA FLOARES is an experienced project & event manager, for the past 10 years she has been part of The Institute team, the organizers of Civil Society Gala, Effie Awards, Romanian Design Week, Internetics Digital Week, coordinating fundraising and communication activities. At the moment she joined The Temple, a Romanian digital Agency and continues to be inspired by projects and people with long term visions and never ending enthusiasm.
ANA CIOBANU has extensive film and art production management experience both in Romania and abroad. With studies in painting, philosophy and interior design, she brings a complex and dynamic skill set to any project she is involved in. After having lived and worked seven years in Paris, she returned to Bucharest to become one of the most sought-after Film Location Managers, working on award-winning features and experimental projects alike.
Born in Vietnam, Uyen is currently a graduate student studying Environmental & Urban Sustainability in New York City. She joined UNFINISHED with experience organizing events at the United Nations and internationally focusing on youth and sustainability. She has worked on the Youth Assembly at the United Nations, the International Telecommunications Union’s 150th Anniversary Gala, and the MiSK Global Forum in Saudi Arabia. Outside of work and studies, she is constantly looking to get her hands dirty spinning pottery, gardening, and composting.
