# UNFINISHED

> UNFINISHED is an annual gathering in Bucharest, Romania, founded in 2016 by Cristian Movilă and organised by EIDOS Foundation. Part festival, part talks, part art, it brings together artists, scientists, philosophers, technologists, activists and entrepreneurs for three days of talks, workshops, performances, installations and shared meals. Places cannot be bought: each edition is limited to 3,141 participants, chosen from applications. Since 2016, the gathering has grown a community of more than 25,000 people from over 70 countries. The 11th edition, UNFINISHED26, took place on 25–27 September 2026 around the theme MULTIPLICITY, the idea that we can be many things at once. It was held in a 4,000 m² garden in central Bucharest with a historic greenhouse and a 153-year-old house. Its line-up included psychoanalyst Orna Guralnik and media theorist Douglas Rushkoff.

Also part of the gathering's world, with no site of their own: UNFINISHED Gallery, a one-artwork gallery open onto the street, called "the tiniest gallery in Bucharest", which has shown Alfredo Jaar, Anthony Burrill and Oana Barbonie; and UNFINISHED Residency, a residency in a small house in the garden.
