Elena Tănase

Journalist

Elena Tănase is a Romanian journalist who worked with the BBC World Service for eight years in Bucharest and London. She joined Digi24, a news channel, in 2012, hosting guests in the Km0 debate who ranged from presidential candidates to ministers and cultural personalities. Lately, Elena Vijulie has become known as a historical documentary producer and presenter. She has focused on historical subjects that were severely censored during the communist regime, such as her two-year long “Steel Crown” project dedicated to Romanian dynasty.
